What is ALGEBRA?
The word Algebra comes from the Arabic: ????? , Romanised: al-jabr, lit. 'reunion of broken parts, bonesetting' from the title of the early 9th century book Ilm al-jabr wa l-muq?bala "The Science of Restoring and Balancing" by the Persian mathematician and astronomer al-Khwarizmi
Algebra is more than a branch of mathematics; Algebra gave base to the Algorithms. Algorithms find their place in computer programs and mechanical applications. So, following the evolution, we find Algebra as foundation of various innovative technologies that we take for granted today. When we think about the Origin of the astonishing discovery and ideological anthology done by The great mind of al-Khwarizmi in the ‘Dark age’ We certainly be taken by his creative and innovative thinking in that inverse era. So, in our view ALGEBRA represents CREATIVITY, INNOVATION and TECHNOLOGY.
What does the Hub do?
