1. Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

Scholarship under the scheme shall be available for studying bachelor’s degree or diploma in India and master’s degree/diploma from any university recognized by UGC/AICTE.

3. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the results of Senior Secondary Examination. 82000 fresh scholarships per annum [41000 for boys and 41000 for girls] are awarded for pursuing graduate / postgraduate studies in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering etc.

4. State Merit Scholarship
This scholarship assigned for the
first-year student of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments, who have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination and their Family annual income should not exceed 1 Lakh. The Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students is formulated and funded by Ministry of Minority Affairs. 16. Indian Council for Cultural Relations Scholarships
Indian Council for Cultural Relations with a mandate of administering scholarship programmes of Government of India annually awards about 3940 scholarship under 26 different schemes to foreign students from about 140 counties. Amongst these 23 schemes, six are funded by ICCR from its’ own grant and others are administered on behalf of MEA and Ministry of Ayush. The courses offered for studies are for under-graduation, post-graduation and M. Phil /PhD levels.
